What We Do Around Your Home

Most of our work is lawn care, mulch and beds, irrigation and sod installation, the things that keep a yard healthy week to week. We also do landscape design and hardscape installation when you want something new built. For trees, we handle tree trimming and removal, palm tree pruning and removal, stump grinding and bamboo removal. Seasonal cleanup and property cleanup cover the times a yard needs a reset.

  • Two landscapers edging a curved paver-bordered mulch bed and raking mulch in front of a single-story stucco home, with potted shrubs, a wheelbarrow and mulch bags on the lawn

    Lawn Care

Regular mowing, feeding, weed control and pest checks that keep your grass thick, so you are not paying to replace dead patches later.

  • Landscaper in a green long-sleeve shirt points across a front yard while talking with a homeowner beside mulched beds, a flagstone path and lawn at a tile-roof house

    Landscape Design

A planting and layout plan that shows what each choice costs now and what it will ask of you in trimming, water and replacement later.

  • Landscaper kneeling in a freshly mulched foundation bed beside a stucco house wall, with paver edging, potted shrubs on the lawn and a wheelbarrow of mulch

    Mulch and Beds

Weeding, edging and fresh mulch for your planting beds, with a straight comparison of what each mulch costs now and over the years.

  • Worker kneeling by a stucco wall adjusting an irrigation controller dial beside a mulched bed with a sprinkler head, front lawn and walkway of a single-story home

    Irrigation

Sprinkler repair, zone adjustments, drip lines and new systems, with a straight answer on what to fix and what to replace.

  • Landscaping crew using a backpack leaf blower and rake on a lawn beside a home's front bed, with paper yard-waste bags of leaves lined up near the street

    Seasonal Cleanup

Leaf drop, cold-damaged plants and overgrown beds cleared on a schedule that fits Central Florida, with all debris hauled away.

  • Landscaper kneeling to unroll a strip of sod beside a stucco home's foundation bed, with stacked sod rolls, prepared soil and a wheelbarrow on the walkway

    Sod Installation

We strip the old lawn, fix the grade and lay grass suited to your sun, shade and upkeep, so the new lawn is still worth it years from now.

  • Landscaper kneeling on a sand base laying gray concrete pavers for a side-yard walkway beside a stucco house, with stacked pavers, a wheelbarrow and potted plants nearby

    Hardscape Installation

Paver patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls and fire pits built on a compacted base so they stay flat through years of summer rain.

  • Worker in a blue shirt and cap uses a pole pruner on a tree beside a stucco house in a fenced side yard, with a black yard cart and AC unit nearby

    Tree Trimming and Removal

Pruning that keeps healthy trees strong for years, and careful removal when a tree has reached the end of its safe life.

  • Worker in a bucket hat and gloves trims dead fronds from a palm trunk with a pole pruner in a fenced side yard, cut fronds piled on the ground

    Palm Tree Pruning and Removal

Careful palm pruning that leaves the green fronds alone, plus safe removal of dying or damaged palms with full cleanup.

  • Worker in blue shirt and khakis operating an orange stump grinder on a tree stump in a yard, with wood chips flying near shrubs, palms and a stucco house

    Stump Grinding

We grind old stumps below the soil line and clear the chips, so you can mow, plant or lay sod over the spot without a fight.

  • Landscaper in gray shirt and cap pulling bamboo canes beside a stucco house, with a wheelbarrow of cut bamboo on the lawn and a white vinyl fence behind

    Bamboo Removal

We cut bamboo down, dig out the spreading rhizomes, haul it all away and come back to check for new shoots.

  • Worker with a backpack blower clearing leaves from a front walkway while another rakes a bed by a stucco home, paper yard waste bags filled with debris nearby

    Property Cleanup

One-time clearing of overgrown yards, brush, vines and debris piles, hauled away, with an honest look at what it takes to keep the yard clear afterward.

What Moves the Price

Every yard is different, so we price after we see it. These are the things that change the number most. Some cost more now and save money every year after.

Your estimate is free and written out line by line after we walk the property. If you want to compare options, we can price two versions side by side.

Size and layout
Square footage matters, but so does shape. Lots of curves, narrow strips and small beds take more hand work than one open lawn.
What is under the surface
Sandy soil drains fast and holds few nutrients. If the ground needs grading, amending or clearing of old roots before anything goes in, that shows up on the estimate as its own line.
Plant and material choices
Some grasses, shrubs and pavers cost more to buy but need less water, trimming or replacing. We show you the trade-off so you can pick what fits your budget and your weekends.
Getting equipment in
When a mower or small loader can drive straight through the gate, the job moves fast. If the backyard is fenced tight or sits behind a pool cage, we may have to wheelbarrow soil and pavers in by hand. That means more labor hours.
Irrigation condition
New sod and plants only live if the water reaches them. If heads are broken or zones are mis-set, fixing that first protects what you are paying for.
Timing and permits
Planting in the rainy season can cut watering costs. Some hardscape work may need a permit, and we tell you at the walkthrough if yours does.

Why Homeowners Pick Us

The cheapest plant or paver is not always the cheapest choice by year three. We show you both numbers so you can decide.

  1. 01

We price the whole life of the job

A bed of annuals and a bed of native shrubs cost different amounts today. They also cost very different amounts to keep up. We lay out both, so you are not surprised by what the yard asks of you later.

  2. 02

    Estimates you can read

Your estimate lists each item on its own line: plants, sod, mulch, labor, haul-off. If you want to cut something, you can see exactly what it saves.

  3. 03

Straight answers on repair or replace

A patchy lawn does not always need new sod. A leaky zone does not always need a new system. We tell you which one makes sense and why, even when the smaller job is the answer.

  4. 04

    We leave the place clean

Clippings get blown off the driveway. Cut limbs and old sod get hauled away. Your walkways and beds get swept before we pack up.

  5. 05

    Financing for bigger projects

A new patio or a full-yard redo does not have to be paid all at once. You can finance amounts up to $100,000, with terms anywhere from 2 to 12 years, and pay it off early with no penalty. Ask about it on the phone and we will walk you through the details.

A Local Crew That Thinks Past Install Day

We are Belle Isle Landscaping. We work on homes across Belle Isle and the south Orlando area, doing everything from weekly lawn care to new patios and tree removal.

We started this company because we kept seeing yards redone every few years. Plants that could not take full sun. Sod laid over bad soil. Sprinklers watering the driveway. Most of that is avoidable if someone thinks about year five on day one.

So that is how we work. We tell you what a choice costs now and what it will cost to keep. Then you decide, and we do the job right.

Questions We Hear a Lot

Is the walkthrough really free?
Yes. We come out, walk your yard with you and give you a free written estimate. There is no charge for the visit and no obligation to book anything.
Why does a cheaper option sometimes cost more?
Low-cost plants that are wrong for your sun or soil often die in the first summer and get replaced. A lawn without fixed irrigation can burn out and need new sod. We show you the up-front price and the likely upkeep so you can see the real total.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Larger jobs can be financed for any amount up to $100,000. Terms run from 2 to 12 years, and paying the balance off early costs nothing extra. Most people use it for landscape design, hardscape installation and bigger yard projects.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not usually. For most lawn care, cleanup and tree work, we just need access to the yard and gates unlocked. We do ask you to be there for the walkthrough so we can talk through choices together.
Should I fix my lawn or replace it with new sod?
It depends on what is wrong. Thin spots from shade, pests or a bad sprinkler zone can often be fixed. If most of the lawn is weeds or dead, new sod is usually the better buy. We will tell you which one we see and why.
How do you handle permits?
Most lawn and planting work does not need one. Some hardscape and larger projects might. If yours does, we tell you at the walkthrough and include it in the plan.
When is the best time to plant or lay sod?
Late spring into summer is usually easiest, since regular rain helps roots take hold and cuts down on hand watering. Planting in the dry months works too, but it needs closer attention to irrigation.

How a Job Runs

No pressure and no guessing. Here is what happens from the first call to the last walk-around.

  1. 1

    You call us

Tell us what is bothering you about the yard, or what you want to change. We set a time to come out.

  2. 2

We walk the yard with you

We look at the lawn, beds, trees, drainage and sprinklers. We ask how much time you want to spend on upkeep, because that shapes what we suggest.

  3. 3

    You get a written estimate

Each item is listed with its cost. Where it helps, we show a lower-cost option next to a longer-lasting one.

  4. 4

    We do the work

We protect walkways and beds, keep the work area tidy and tell you if we find something unexpected before we change the plan.

  5. 5

    Final walk and care notes

We walk the finished job with you, haul off debris and explain how to water and care for anything new.
